Box lunches are available to be pre-ordered for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday through Credit Union 1 Arena's catering company, Sodexo. These pre-ordered box lunches can be easily picked up by each team from a dedicated pick-up area in the arena. This is the recommended way to feed your team and will maximize the amount of time your team members have to eat their meal during each day's lunch break. There are three box lunch meal choices available, which can be seen below. Substitutions cannot be made to these meal choices.
The prices of each box lunch meal choice include all sales taxes and administrative fees. Questions regarding pre-ordered team box lunches can be sent to Sodexo's general manager, Caissa Holyon, via phone at (773)386-3395 or via email at [email protected].

Some of the regular Credit Union 1 Arena food and beverage concessions strands will be open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Selections and prices will vary across each concession stand. These concessions stands typically serve traditional arena fare, such as hot dogs, pizza, popcorn, and sandwiches.
While the neighborhood around Credit Union 1 Arena has several restaurants that teams may be able to visit, few of these restaurants are close enough to feasibly allow a team to visit during each competition day's lunch break, but they may be great options for team dinners each evening. Credit Union 1 Arena is bound by University of Illinois at Chicago and Department of Health guidelines regarding food. Teams CANNOT bring food into the venue and will not be allowed to consume outside food near the entrances of the arena or anywhere in the building, including the stands, pit area, competition floor, concourses, and lobby area. Venue security staff will not be allowing teams to bring in outside food. If a team attempts to bring outside food into the venue, security will ask that the food be returned to a team's vehicle.
We recognize that some teams or team members have specific dietary restrictions that prevent them from eating any of the box lunches offered by Sodexo and require them to bring their own food. If this is the case for your team, please email us at [email protected] by Sunday, March 24 so arrangements can be made before the Regional. We have worked with Sodexo to offer limited exceptions to the outside food policy for those with dietary restrictions as long as they are arranged ahead of time.
